This week I had a Premier Jewelry Party at my house. I'm not the most fashionable person for those who know me well. After all, when I was a missionary in Chile, I would wear plaids and strips together without thinking twice. Hey, they both had navy in them, right! I'll have to scan in and post the picture someday. It would be blackmail material if I ever cared. Anyway, the party was fun and I think I will be able to get a few things that might help me with my lack of style. If anyone would still like to see the catalog, I'm not closing my show until Wednesday.
I've really been having fun with my Savvy Savings Tucson site this week. There are so many deals going on right now. I have a feeling it's only going to get better the closer we get to Christmas. I just hope we'll all have jobs and a little security where we can take advantage of a few of them. It's getting a little scary. I can't believe how many stores are closing and lots of people are getting laid off. I think we are all trying to be a little more cautious and careful with what we have been given.
Well, on the more positive side, I started walking again this week. I was going out almost every week day with Margie Delgado, then it started to cool off and was still dark at 5:30 a.m., so we stopped for a while. This week we started up again but going at 9 a.m. with Emma in the stroller. Donna Despain started going with us as well this week. It's funny that when you get 3 woman together walking how fast that 2 miles goes. We just talk and visit and before I know it we've walked the whole loop. It's a lot funner than going by myself.
Our Primary Program is on the 23rd! This is where all 80+ kids (3-11 years) share what they have learned this year at church in words and song for all the adults. Karen Cushing has done a phenomenal job putting the program together. If anyone from our Estes family would like to come watch, it will be at the church that is on Lon Adams right close to Estes and the Jr. High at 9 a.m. on Sunday the 23rd! We'd love to have you come. You probably know the majority of the kids in the program anyway!
Well, I hope you all have a great week!

I just wanted to thank you for doing all that you do. I love your Savvy Savings blog--it is super helpful!! Also, I'm sorry I missed your jewelry part, we were out and I didn't remember or get your message until it was too late. I would love to look through your catalog before you close your sale.
I loved reading your update!! You are too funny! And I think you have plenty of style! I am looking forward to inviting some friends out here to the Primary program. I think it is going to go great next week. Thanks for all you do for Primary!:)
That's so cool that you're walking every day. Going with friends is a lot funner than going by yourself. I used to go with a neighbor and we got to be really close friends through it. Thank you for all the clothes you gave Miles too. I'm so excited for him to wear the suits!
